Sundays in bed with is hosted by Kate at Midnight Book Girl. This week I am listening to the audio version of one of my favorite books:
I just got the Galaxy S5 and it’s amazing, but I’m still figuring out how to use it. However, the first thing I did was to make sure I could work my Audible app. If this was twitter, I would hashtag this “priorities”.
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
The last few weeks I picked up a few books, all of which I’m excited for.
Noggin by John Corey Whaley – I was already curious about this one, but Jen sent it to me because she said it was my kind of weird. I just started it, but I’m only about 20 pages in.
The Plot Thickens by Noah Lukeman and Self-Editing for Fiction Writers by Renni Browne and Dave King – I borrowed both of these from the library after seeing them on a list of great books for writers. I have too many WIPS (all finished drafts, at least) and really focus on revising it this summer, so hopefully I’ll be able to renew these a few times. I LOVED Lukeman’s The First Five Pages, so I have high hopes for this one.
Far From You by Tess Sharpe – Andye of Reading Teen offered her unread ARCs to bloggers who would review them on her site. I’ve been looking forward to reading this one and I love Reading Teen, so I was really excited about her post. I’m starting it after I finish Noggin.
Curtsies and Conspiracies by Gail Carriger – I borrowed this from the library, but I might actually buy this from audible. We’ll see.
The Dare by Hannah Jayne (not pictured) is an an e-galley. Thank you Sourcebooks Fire and NetGalley.
Talker 25 (not pictured) by Joshua McCune – I purchased this for Kindle because it sounds amazing.
Dortothy Must Die (not pictured) by Danielle Paige- I bought this as a gift, but then decided to keep it. Oops.
Writing the Other (not pictured) by Nisi Shawl and Cynthia Ward- I purchased this because it was recommended during the We Need Diverse Books campaign.
